OSCAR M-A-N-I-A!

There are many entertaining things about living with a movie professor...  And many perks, too - such as that "work" oftentimes involves going to the movies and sometimes buying DVDs is a tax write-off!

One of the MOST entertaining times of the year to be *The Other Half* of a FILM PROFESSOR, though... is OSCAR TIME!!  The anticipation, the prediction-contests, the complete - silence - while - watching - the - Oscars and the complete - immersion - in - Oscar - nominated - movies - from - the - second - they're - nominated ... tonight is a big night in our house!

In honor of tonight's festivities, I am going to post a few Oscar-related photos from our adventure to NYC last weekend, where we got to HOLD A REAL LIVE OSCAR!  (A dream-come-true for J!)

So I hope you enjoy these photos as much as J enjoyed his moment with Mr. Oscar...  It's unlikely that you will, but hey ....... Even the pictures are pretty darn neat! :)
